We are very pleased and excited to announce the line-up for the 2017-2018 Season - our 81st year at Jamestown's Community Theatre!

Annual Jr. Guilders Christmas Show (Special Event) December 8, 2017 at 7:30 PM  & December 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM.
Our Season begins with an Annual tradition that is beloved by the theatre and our community!  The Jr. Guilders, now in their 36th year are sure to take us all on a magical and festive journey into the Holiday Season.

George Kimball's favorite hobby is hypochondria. When he mistakenly overhears his doctor discussing another patient with heart trouble, he prepares to meet the end bravely, sure it it 'his time'. Putting his affairs in order, he writes a heartbreaking letter to his wife to be read as his eulogy. He even arranges a good second husband for his soon-to-be widow, with a cemetery plot for three: himself, his wife and the new future 'Mister Kimball'.

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! Packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a cast of 4), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!

The first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be produced for the professional stage, Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 40 years. The rock opera, loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.

Are We There Yet? is a roller coaster ride through the lives of modern American families. This merry musical romp includes everything from hysterical family car trips and mothers praying for hits at their sons’ baseball games, to fathers sitting through ballet lessons and the joy of sex after 60. This lively musical portrays the love and challenges of the old adage, “You can pick your friends but you can’t pick your family.” One thing is for sure, you will definitely relate to this family musical and enjoy the ride
